A lot of our bayside work is the kind you never see once it is finished — posts and bearers for restumping, subfloor members, and framing for ground levels being rebuilt. Alongside beams, our branch carries a broad run of steel products for the building trades, so most projects can be sourced from a single supplier with one delivery.

Yes. Send your engineer's beam schedule, a marked-up sketch, or simply the sections and lengths, and we cut to it exactly. Older Sandgate and Shorncliffe houses are rarely square, so if a length is coming off a site measure rather than a drawing, tell us — it changes how much tolerance we leave you.

Parallel flange channels and universal beams across the sizes that residential and light-commercial work calls for, held in stock and ready to cut. Anything outside that range we supply made-to-measure.

Raw steel, prime painted, hot-dipped galvanised, and pre-drilling to your hole layout. Near the water the general rule is galvanised for anything exposed to weather or sitting in a ventilated underfloor, and prime painted for members that finish up fully enclosed and dry. Follow your engineer's notes, and call us if they are not clear.

Three days from order is typical. Stock sections can be quicker, and galvanised members take longer because the coating is a separate process — order those as early in your program as you can.

Both. We deliver across the bayside, or you can collect from Eagle Farm. If you are having steel delivered, tell us what the access looks like when you order — older Sandgate streets are narrow and plenty of blocks have one tight side path with a fence and a meter in the way. Knowing that before we load is much better than discovering it when the truck arrives.
